-Running Win98SE -HP USB Printer -We have a DOS program, that needs to print to a LPT port, is there anyway of fooling the LPT port to sent the job to the USB Printer. A setting, or little program that would do this? so when i send a job to LPT1, it would send it to the USB printer.
Have no idea as to what you are talking about.lpt and usb are not even in the same ball park.It is not even the same cable. Need more info on this and you had better explain this a hell of a lot better.Just what are you trying to do? lpt1 and usb will never happen and if it does you will loose the speed that the usb was made for. ???????

We have a DOS program, DOS Programs, can't print to a USB Port, It wants to print to LPT1 (Paralell Printer Port), Im aware of the speed issue, but since i have no choice (DOS Doesn't Support USB) i need to find a way of sending a DOS job to the USB Port. basically routing a job sent to LPT1 to USB port.
