I have been using a Diamond Monster Fusion 16mb video card for awhile now. I want to install a 8mb ATI video card with a TV output into the system. Can I run both these cards in my sysytem? I have a Pent 133, 80 megs ram,(Stop Laughing) with Windows 98

I believe that if you have 2 video cards in 98 and both are enabled, windows 98 will think you want to do monitor spanning and show you half of the video on one monitor and the other half on the other monitor?
don't quote me.

Dan: I run 98SE and operate 2 monitors. The first monitor I feed with a AGP card while the second gets it signal from a PCI card. In my motherboard's BIOS I have to chose which to boot to: PCI bus or AGP. Once my computer boots in to Windows on the selected card/monitor it's a simple matter of telling Windows to enable the second card/monitor to expand your desktop onto the second monitor. While on your desktop rightclick then hit "properties", then "settings" and click on the second grayed out monitor to enable it and hit Apply. Your second monitor should now turn on and display the same color as your desktop. You will need to adjust the size of the added monitor so it displays web pages and such to your liking but once you have your "new" expanded desktop set Windows will fire up both monitors at every boot. You will be able to slide entire Windows from one monitor to the other and have a browser on each monitor but you will only be able to work with one browser at a time. In order to slide a window from one monitor to the other you have to make sure that it is not maximized first. Once you slide it over, maximize it back to full size so it fills the entire screen. One wierd thing I noticed here is that if I have streaming audio playing back in each browser at the same time I hear them both playing through my speakers at the same time. Be sure to set your desktop icons to auto-arrange when Windows boots or else they may move from one screen to the other on boot up. Hope this helps.
