hello there ppl,

I have Win98SE and i constantly have a Iexplore error and in details it always has something to do with the USER.exe file. How do i fix this. AS soon as i start internet explorer it gives me that error and boots me off the site as well as sometimes shuts off stuff in my SYSTEM TRAY

to be alittle more specific it says this in details for everytime it happens :

IEXPLORE caused a general protection fault
in module USER.exe at 000b:00001a5e.

Your best bet is to go to Start à Windows Update and upgrade IE. It sound like something got corrupted.

Try make new user name profile form controlpanel\user. looks your user.dat is corrupted.
