OS: win 98
CPU/Ram: amd xp1800.256 DDR ram

i think sum1 sent me a user.exe virus. i used anti-virs it said nothing wronge yet sum programs dont open. so i fdisk my pc tryed to reinstall windows 98 but it wouldnt install keep getting a 'user.exe error' can any1 help???

When you used Fdisk, did you delete all partititons or just format?
You have to delete everything and recreate to get rid of a virus.
