I can't open Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer. Message is EXPLORER caused a general protection fault in module USER.exe at 000a:00002730. I tried repair and I re-installed Windows with no success.

SFC didn't help. I've used every diagnostic tool available. When I run the System Configuration Tool with everything unchecked, I still get the error. The only time I don't get the error is in Safe Mode.

I've had the same messages with no luck either. This only occurred a few days ago. I did do a virus scan and found a modified home.reg file. Turns out my system was infected with the JS.seeker virus which I manually fixed. However, I still have no use of Internet or Windows Explorer in any mode including safe mode. You find your answer yet??
