I need to extract the username and computername when a user logs in and output it to a text file. Keep in mind, all the info goes into one file called install.log

Any suggestions on how to do this through a NT login script?

You have three options. You can use VBscript, KiXstart language from Microsoft, or use Scriptlogic which is a GUI program that uses KiXstart. You can visit their site at http://www.scriptlogic.com

Hope this helps.
