Hello, I prefer to use Google search engine, but in IE's search bar, opening Customize does not list Google, nor does it let you add your own. Is there a way to add Google, like a reg hack or something?

Are you talking about that neat little search bar you can download from Google? If so, once you have it installed you need to right click on the menu bar in IE and put a checkmark next to Google.

Betty, you can customize the IE search to make it Google (my favorite too!). The instructions are here on the Google site: www.google.com/intl/en_extra/options/defaults.html.

Thanks, guys! Actually, Kurt, I had not even known about the Google bar thing (I'm a recent Google convert). Looks cool. I'll have to try it. Bon, I think this is exactly what I was looking for, a good ol' .reg file. Thanks, you two!

I have also discovered how much I like Google. This is what I did.In Internet Explorer Go to Favorites, then Add to favorites, put it in your "links folder" Then you will have a push button directly on your menu bar.
