USB to IDE driver?

Comment:
I have an external 3.5" harddrive enclosure, connects via a USB 2.0 cable onto a PCI USB 2.0 card. The drivers for the card are installed and are OK, however when I switch the unit on (with a harddrive in it) it detects it and tries to install a "USB to IDE" driver. The installation disc for the unit doesn't include this driver and Win98 doesn't seem to provide it. I've tried some USB driver collections from Microsoft but no results. How do I go about solving this driver issue?

Since I haven't a clue just what driver(s) it might be looking for I won't try and steer you to anything in particular, but if you do a Google search for USB to IDE you will find some drivers that fit that category. Good luck!
