How do I get my machine to recognise a USB printer. Clicking on the properties show its set for LTP-1 and there is no selection foe a USB. Help Thank You

You do not say which printer you have? I have a HP Deskjet 950C which has USB and Paralell ports. But it can only be setup as one or the other at setup. If I wanted to change from pParalell (LPT1) to USB I would need uninstall and re-install the driver setup with USB cable in place.

This is most probably the case with your printer as well!

You may need an instalation disc to install it. On the three printers I have fitted, all three required a disc.
Look on the manufacturers website and see what you can find.
