On my MSI MS-6147 motherboard I have two USB ports, however only one works, this is however causing me a few problems as I keep on having to disconnect and re-connect my Broadband USB adapter to uplaod images from my camera. The only problem I can see is that the USB ports share the same IRQ as the onboard soundcard. I realise this isnt strictly OS related, but any help at all would be very much Appreciated. Thanks Phil

I say you possibly have a faulty USB port(since one port works and the other port doesn't)and if the USB port is built into the mobo I don't know of much you can do about it without getting a new motherboard.

Hi Phil, dxorsist05, hello everyone
I agree that the USB port is most likely bad. I would buy a USB hub. I seen a 4-Port hub in this area for $19.99 U.S. recently.
