USB Flash Drive as Virtual Memory

Is it possible to set up a USB Flash Drive or PCMCIA Memory Card as a Virtual Memory location in WIN 98SE to increase the speed of my laptop? I use it only for internet connectivity when I travel and it is maxed out at 96 Megs RAM resulting in very slow operation. I hate to buy a new laptop for the few times I use it.

In Vista yes, in 98SE, I don't think so.

No. Flash memory will be far to slow to use as Virtual Memory.
How big is you hard disk? That's where Virtual Memory goes.

Can you cut down the number of applications you have running all the time? Limit them to an anti-virus with the minimum options enabled and a firewall and that should help a lot.
