Try to contact Westwell and inform if they can send you the Westell CD-ROM containing USB software drivers and User Guide in PDF format which should have come with your kit (page 7). (http://www.westell.com) (http://www.westell.co.uk/support/downloads/030_300198D.pdf)

The Westell link for that model just tells you to contact your ISP.
I did find this Westell page with some Verizon downloads but not that particular model. I don't know if they'll work for yours or not.
BellSouth apparently uses those modems. You may be able to find drivers by clicking on the 'equipment' link.
I'm not sure, but the firmware may be designed to only accept drivers from the service provider and not the manufacturer.
Summary: USB drivers are very touchy. You may have to uninstall/reinstall a few times to get it working. Read all instructions you can find in your mannual or at their site. The exact sequence must be followed...
