System is using Intel 82371EB and have 1 USB port.
Tried to plug in a USB-Compact Flash card reader which use Datafab DF-UG-07 (USB1.1) IC. Win98SE detailed a USB device but can't fina a suitable driver.
Also tried to plug in a USB-IDE adapter which use Genesys Logic GL811 (USB2.0) IC. OS again detected a USB device, but failed to find the driver again.
You need to find the device driver for your Compact Flash card reader. Didn't you get a driver disk when you bought it? If you did, just insert it when prompted, and Windows should install the appropriate driver.
Exactly. Win98 won't have a driver for a device that wasn't even available at that time...you'll have to install one for your reader to work. As Eric pointed out...you should have gotten a driver disk with the device...if not, go to the manufacturer's website & download it
