USB card reader problem with W98

USB card reader- have 2 computers with Windows98. When I install the card reader on the second machine and reboot- it Blue Screens. It works fine on the first machine.
Once, I got a message ’…MSDServe.dll file is locked….’

I would suggest you remove the USB hub from device manager and then restart again, it should pick up the hub again, then plug the pen back in and see if this will help.
