ok...i'm trying to find out what is going to be the best option for me. cause i want to get a web cam, and i want to use the best hard ware so i can get the fastest, most clear picture, with none of those annoying delays in frames. so which one is gonna be the best...cause i've read that usb 2.0 is faster, which is great at 450 mb/sec, but i've also read that fire wire 2.0 is coming out which will give people like 800 meg/sec data transfer. so when is that coming out. cause i'd rather wait, and buy that, if that's what is gonna be available. if anyone knows please let me know...cause that is like earth shattering speeds, and i definitley want to get my hands on that kind of stuff. if anyone has any info on this at all.....please respond. i'm definitley interested in learning. thanks for everything.

The experts that I've read say to go with Firewire for video devices. It's the current standard for video.

can you please tell me why fire wire is better. i thought usb 2.0 is actually faster, giving users 480 mb/sec data transfer. the only reason i could see not going with usb 2.0 is because there aren't many video devices which support usb 2.0, but all you need is one, and new ibot 2.0 does, and i think it even comes with the usb 2.0 card. please let me know your response. thanks
