When other users upload music files from me, their upload speed takes a radial dive from a high speed right down to 1.07 causing the user to abort their upload. I can't figure this out. My upload speed registers at 535.
Any ideas?

Try using some modem booster softwares which might help. Or even some uploading utilities which can sustain such small transfer rates.

Rather u can try uploading when the network traffic would be less(like late night or early morning)...

Hope this helps bye...

the user to abort their upload
That doesn't necessarly mean they really aborted, it can also mean that the download is completed.
As you may have noticed when downloading you can be connected to several users at a time, the + sign infront of a download.
When one is downloading a file from more then one user at a time, one doesn't need to complete the whole download from one praticular user.
All the bits and pieces come together on your machine, when downloading, to form the downloaded file.
