Hi, I have a hp pavilion 7410p. I was wondering if anyone out there remembers how to upgrade to win98. It has a recovery disk. When ever I try I get an error message. Is there a way that I can do this without loosing my original info. Thanks Judy

Borrow someone else's copy of Win98. The version that comes with HP computers will overwrite everything.
It's not stealing as you paid for a copy of Win98 and all you want to do is restore it.

Are you saying that you have W95 installed, and a HP W95 recovery disc, or that you have W95 installed and are trying to upgrade using a HP W98 recovery disc?
