I have a fujitsu with no cdrom, How can i possible take my winxp cd and upgrade my touch screen laptop to winxp pro?

The only way I can think of to accomplish this is to connect it to another computer through a network, enable file sharing on the laptop PC and on the PC with the CD-ROM drive. The world of Windows Networking web site has more information about how to do this. www.wown.com

Simple
connect ur LAPTOP with a pc having cdrom
than copy whole setup files
to ur hdd
than run setup and everthing will go fine
anil

You need a network card - a NIC - (goes into the pcmi slot on the side of the laptop), a cat-5 crossover-cable between that NIC and another NIC in the XP PC. On both systems install a protocol, enable client for M$ networks, enable file/printer sharing.

However I seem to recall a recent post which indicated that, unlike NT/W2K, it is not always possible to install XP from the hard-drive. Not having tried to install it that way I can't/shouldn't comment further in that regard? But it would be wise to verify first if it is possible?
Also as queried in my earlier post - why no CDROM, and is this system OK for XP? You could be wasting your time going for XP on this laptop...
