When performing Windows Upgrade Advisor to determine if my system is suitable for XP I get this message each time ...
WINNT32 caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 016f:bff7a388.
Any suggestions on what this pertains to and how I can resolve this issue?

i found this on microsofts web site and this it what it said hope it helps

locate the Qbconv32.dll file and rename it to Qbconv32.dl_. If you find multiple copies of this file on the computer, rename each copy.

can be found at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=252725

Thanks for the tip but unfortunately it didn't work. The last five digits are different on the error message, compared to the one displayed on the Microsoft site so it may be related to another program.

Hi Tellme, Matty1973, hello everyone,

Are you running it from the WinXP CD or online at Microsoft?

Best Regards,

Hi Tellme, Matty1973, hello everyone,

Try this one at PC Pitstop and see if you still get the same error.

The pc pitstop worked but I'm thinking I won't be able to upgrade to XP with that error appearing through the microsoft test.
