Comment: I have a little punk brother that loves to use the windows + F key to find "stuff" on my PC even though I have disabled the find command. I heard that a new explorer.exe file exists that fixes that.. Can you help? Any other info?

Reply: (edit)Howdy, Well you can make a directory that is hidden in a way but it still shows up. If you want more info on how to do this so you're little brother stays out of what you don't want him to see or read e-mail me and I will tell ya how, its very simple to do and 2 simple batch files let you gain access or deny access to the directory. The best part is that once it is there you can create sub-directorys inside it the normal way but once you lock the directory you can see it but you can't access it. Anyways, its a cheap easy way to protect what you don't want others to see but I will only disclose it via e-mail. Laters, Kevin The Tech Dude. mkjakub@mindspring.com
