Update Chiset cd won't work

I updated my chipset drivers to try and get my usb ports to work now my cd burner dosn't work either. I have a creative 8432 i updated the drivers for it and reinstalled nero anything else I can do? Thanks

You shouldn't need any drivers for your CDRW.
Is the CDRW operating in msdos compatibility mode? Which version of Nero?
