unprotect sheet in Excel - lost password

Here is the story...

We've got an old Excel file that was created and password protected by an employe that doesn't work here anymore. We could reach that person and he sent us a version without a password to open it. It worked fine but the last three sheet are password protected. So, if I go into Tools --> Unprotect sheet, it'll ask me for a password. That person is unreachable now so we can't ask him to unprotect it.
I tried to move or copy the sheet in another workbook but the protection is still there. So, I think I need a crack program. I made some reasearch and found some but they charge $30 US. This problem is unlikly to happen again, so I'm asking you if you know one that works for free.
