I have a E-Tower 600ix (128Ram) running Windows '98 2nd Edition. When I launch certain applications for the 1st time between shutdowns/restarts (such as MS Word or Netscape), I get a series of three to six error boxes (accompanied by an audible chime) that have to be cleared before the program will finish launching. The errors simply have a white X in a red circle, and say "Error" giving the option to click "OK." There is no other information given, and I can't figure out their cause, or even if they are definately from Windows. I can't find a description of this error on the Microsoft website. Help!
