Im after a tool in Windows that can directly change the permissions of UNIX files. For example chmod 755 * but in Windows. I have to keep using telnet to a unix server which is very slow, so it would be har easier if I could change the files directly and then just uplaod them to the server from my machine. I would be extreemly grateful if anyone knows of such a tool. Thanks

I use WS_FTP to transfer unix files and also to change file permissions. Go to ftp planet and download wsftp le.

Hope that helps.

Kevin.
