Can someone please tell me how to uninstall Internet Explorer 4.0 that comes with 95 plus and where I can get Internet Explorer 5.5 and how to install that. Any help will be great!!!

Hi:too many peoples are Having a problems with IE 5.5 ,so my advice to U stay what you are or upgrade to IE 5.0 ,as with respect to ur question from where U can get-it just type IE 5.0 in the Google.com search box and voila..laters,Dianna.
You don't need to uninstall 4.0 I agree with Dianna, 5.5 is a nightmare. Just upgrade to 5.0, it will install additional files over the top of 4.0 that are necessary, speeding up download time.

Look in some of those ubiquitous AOL, MSN, etc CDs that pile up. They include copy of IE5 or IE5.5 which can be installed separetly from the dialer software. May however have logos etc customized. AOL6.0 has IE5.5

You can get IE 5.0 from ZD Net. 5.5 is god awful and if you ever put it on your system, you cannot get rid of without a reformat period!
