Some of the childs that come home use the pc and installed a program named Filter to avoid the porn pages however when i try to remove directly a passsword is requiered and the same when add/remove programs is used. I am trying to remove it due it is causing some problems with the pc. please is there any way to remove it without knowing the password. I have win96SE, 128k.

Those darn kids--putting on that porn filter!

You should probably try the filter supplier's website. There may be info there, or post back with the link. A google search of filter porn remove doesn't distinguish the use of the word 'filter' as a brand name or as just another noun or verb.
