Uncompressing a Win SE98 FAT file in Vista

June 12, 2009 at 05:05:53
Specs: Windows Vista
I urgently need to access some files that I stored on a floppy disk, which I have compressed in Windows SE98. I have lost the cdR in which I have copied those files so uncompressing the floppy is my only option. The problem is when I try to open the floppy it "This disk was compressed using DriveSpace 3, which requires Windows 98." I do not have a pc/laptop with windows SE98 and no bootable disk as well. I currently have a laptop with Windows Vista on it. Can someone help as to how I can use my Vista to retrieve those files in that floppy? It is very important guys please help.

Do you still have Win98 disks? If so you can install Win98 by using Virtual PC 2007. Get it below. There is a link in that page to get MS Virtual PC 2007.
