uncompiling a help (.hlp) file

I have a .hlp file for a software package and I wish to deconstruct it into the original files.

Is there anyway to do this

I once found a program called Helpdeco which did this. Can't remember where. Do a search.

found a program on TUCOWS.com called help2txt.exe , it will decompile hlp files into standart txt files that then can be read using word, notepad, any ascii editor.

That reminds me of another one called Help2rtf which outputs formatted text and Windows Metafiles as graphics. Guy from Germany wrote it.
