after rebooting in safemode with my windows millenium edition. I defraged and scandisk for errors, I rebooted back into the normal mode and Iam experiencing multiple of errors. First, my desktop icons are large and my screensaver picture is not as clear as it was before. Secondly, my computer is not running effeciently, especially when I play games...it slows down. I have HP Pavilion with a intel celeron processor. whatever I did in safemode it seems that my computer has not recovered especially with the color on my monitor,,,can you please help.

Have you tried adjusting your computers resolution? to do this right click your desktop, then properties,then configuration, and make sure youd settings are for at least 24bit and the resolution you prefer.
