Got this computer, The modem works fine, it can send faxes and stuff. Any ISP I try to dial up it dials, verifies username and password and then straight after it says unable to connect or unable to establish connection.

hi, somebody is trying to enter in ur account. Ask the service provider and confirm the ID & PW. Better u add some numbers with ur PW. example: mike234.
Check your network settings. You need to have TCPIP, if you don't you will get just what your getting. If your not sure of other settings have your ISP walk you through the settings.
