Hi expert,
I got the old laptop Compaq series 1625 series unit with a 266 MHz AMD-K6 MMX enhanced processor, 128 MB RAM, 512 KB L2 cache and 24X CD-ROM with 4 gig HD, and I just installed WIN98 SE edition for this laptop.
I just bought the wireless card bus adapter for this laptop, but whenever I try to install the driver from the driver CD-ROM, then the POPSUP screen says “UNABLE TO DISPLAY, BECAUSE THE MACROMEDIA FLASH PLAYER IS NOT INSTALLED.”
Thanks for any solution!

Self-explanatory - that installer requires that Macromedia Flash Player be installed on the system.

Do a Google search for the Macromedia site and download it there.

there may be an older edition that you can download for an older operating system like windows 98, youll find now they won't make programs compatiable for windows 98 or 98se. the lowest i have seen in compatibility nowadays is 2000.

Hope this helps.
