dear sir ,

i had recentlyt formatted my computer and as a result i lost my display driver . windows is unable to detect it at its installation phase . the following are the details of my display card :-

mercury .
sis , sis '97 , pid - 4462 , 9833ee

could you please email the driver to me along with the installations instructions or else provide me the guidelines to detect the display driver . i have no cd of the display card driver . thanks .

None of that sounds like a model number, but I think the mercury video cards are made by Kobian. You might check the Sis drivers on this page:
