I am trying to connect to internet through AOL. My modem is dailing the AOL numbers and gets hanged up while I get the "talking to network" message on the screen. Can some one help me how to solve this? Thanks, Dinesh

try disabling call waiting in aol's expert setup. sometimes on an older line even though someone has call waiting on it, it can create problems with connecting. I've seen it at a friends house who has very old phone lines. Took us an hour and a half to figure out to try disabling call waiting. And yes my friend had call waiting. Once we disabled it in aol setup it connected the first time.
