I added a second hd for my games called it d:formated it everything looks good. When I loaded my first game I just changed the drive designation to d: with the same file name it loaded fine and showes up on explorer but when I go to programs and click on the game the hour glass comes on but nothing happens it dosen't start from the cd drive eather

I don't know for sure if this is your problem but ... Some stupid programs will only run when installed on C:

In Explorer, you could try going to C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\, find your game's shortcut, right-click, Properties... and amend the location(s) there.

Or just right-click the program menu selection and choose properties and edit.
