Hi, I have a Nvidia GeForce2 MX400 video card. I want to use the TV out on my TV. However, my TV only has the RF-style inputs. When I use my VCR, I can get an image just fine. However, I just recently bought a Terk RF Modulator, and plugged it in. However, I get no image. I use the Detect Displays function in the Nvidia software, but it doesn't work. The TV flashes whenever I click that, but nothing else. I also tried the Terk Modulator on another computer with an Nvidia GeForce4 MX420 video card with TV out. Still no go.
Is the problem with the Terk Modulator? or the Nvidia series of cards that prevent it from working with RF Modulators? I plugged my N64 system into the modulator and it works.

Whoops, sorry, I just realized I posted under the wrong category. Sorry! but still please help if you know =)

I've a geforce 4 card myself & had the same prob when trying to view thru the tv...no chance!..but like Ur's it would display if put thru the vcr!
found the prob in my case was that the card's output settings weren't set right. I'm in the UK & it was set to an American standared output..(had to change it from ntsc to pal..(or vice versa).
You could always give that a try for starters if not done so already..make sure your tv is connected up first tho..navigate thru your display properties/settings/advanced....geforce tab & look for the nView display mode tab..then get it to detect displays & when U have the tv listed select it & look at device settings..have a nose around in there for the output setting..think that's how I sorted it..was a while back! :¬) If no joy post back so someone else can try & help. good luck...Andy

You should not use an RF modulator. As suggested andyb check all the settings in your TV output options.
