This is the closes I came to finding something that will convert .pdf to .doc, but to no avail. Although there is a .pdf to .txt convert thingy there, but im guessing you want all the features of the .pdf like the image and what have you but without making it a webpage, anyway, check that link out.

When I need a .pdf file in Word, I open the .pdf file with Acrobat Reader first. Go to EDIT-SELECT ALL-COPY. Open Word, then EDIT-PASTE. The file is there in Word and after a little re-formatting it is can be saved as a .doc file. Hope this helps

The point of a PDF file is that it is Portable ("Portable Document Format")... Word is not.
Ok, if you MUST, copy/paste the text, then copy paste the graphics... it's a 2-step!

Thanks to everyone who provided advice on this topic. I purchased Omnipage, and was planning on scanning the documents into MS-Word. However I had a happy surprise, Omnipage added the Option "Convert to" when I right click on the PDF file. This has allowed me to convert to a word document without having to scan.
