Comment: Just reformatted drive, but when we try to reinstall win98 (D:\setup) it keeps giving an error message. I'm just an amateur here...any help please?

Reply: (edit)I don't understand your question. For example, you say, "it keeps giving an error message" Usually, Microsoft charges you for any error messages, so you will probably be getting a bill in the mail.

Reply: (edit)The bootdisk creates a ramdrive and labels it "D" and all your cdrom drives move up one letter. Try E:\setup. The bootdisk also has a path statement that will find the cdrom on it's own if you just type in "setup" without a letter.
