Howdy,

If anyone can help me with a similar problem I would appreciate it.
Have an old IBM 240x that I am trying to install windows to. I have tried using a Windows boot disk with the DUSE.exe on it to get access to the USB Cdrom, when I use Duse with the boot disk I still do not have enough memory to install Win95 or 98. Changed the config quite a few times, however still not enough memory. Is there a USB driver that uses less conventional memory?? Tried setting to Devicehigh and loadhigh, still no luck
If anyone has any ideas please let me know
Cheers

Post back contents of config.sys and autoexec.bat on the bootdisk. We may be able to help streamline them for you.

Hi,

Yes, or xcopy the [CDROM]\win98 c:\win98\
sys c:
reboot on c: and run the install from there.
