Trouble accessing second hard drive..HEL

I was recently given a former network computer that generally runs fine. I do however require more hard drive space. Upon further examination I have noticed that there is a second hard drive attached that I can not access. Both drives are SCSI drives and are recognized separately at start-up, however I cannot access the second one.
I am sure there is a perfectly simple solution for this and would greatly appreciate some help (I am definately a rookie at these matters!!!). Some more details of the system are below:
Pentium Pro - 150MHZ - Windows'98 Drives - both Quantum Fireball SCSI Drives

you might have to run fdisk and partition the 2nd drive then format it.

On boot up, does it mention the second drive? If not, change the transfer speed or play with the termination or make sure the ID is correct and not a used one or a host adapter ID.
