do you have an anti virus program on your pc? if not here is a free version of avg on this site:

i found that if you run the anti virus in safe mode it will quarintine it better
i have heard alot of good things about this free antivirus program but i have never used it

Trojan Horse is a generic term describing a specific class of malware.
Should be able to remove it successfully by using an AV product or an application that targets Trojans.
Manual removal can be usually be done, but you'd need to know the actual Trojan involved.

There are a multitude of different Trojan Horses all requiring different fixes.
Get as much info as you can to describe the particular one you have got and post this on the Security & Virus forum. They are the best folk to help you pin it down.
