downloader.revop.a uploads the following files in the program files folder: pup.exe over.exe it also drops a copy of itself using a random file name in the windows system folder. first you need to identify the malware program. do an online virus scan here then you need to terminate the program by pressing alt+ctrl+del , locate the program and end task it. finally remove autostart entries: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run ** delete the file found in the right pane ** references http://computing.net/windowsme/wwwboard/forum/41229.html http://computing.net/security/wwwboard/forum/9249.html
