We have AVG antivirus and it has detected Trogan horse backdoor.ruledor.d. How do we get rid of this thing, and how can we prevent getting it or something like it in the future. Thanks

Type backdoor.ruledor in Google, there are lots of hits about it and some cures.

If not post this on the Security & Virus forum (top left) where you should get the best advice.
