Howdy, Well have you though about clicking on the link to the left of your screen that says Windows Drivers? It might help.

Laters,

I am also faced with a Trident driver problem. The "driver icon on the left" did not help. You may be able to connect to Trident site. The driver you will find there did not work for me. Their tip on finding the manufacturer of the video card through the FCC# did not result into anything. FCC data base apparently is off line when I got there. (our tax dollars working hard!).
My video card is a 3D Image 9750. Came with a new computer bought from egghead.com auction site.
Bottom line, using supplied driver with computer, WIN 98 driver for Trident and driver found at Trident site did not work (actually Trident newest driver form their site will lock out computer). Otherwise computer restart itself or freezes. Only solution at this time is generic WIN 98 VGA driver with 256 color max. Bad news.

I had a similar problem: I format/installed all my system (amd k6-2 450 64 ram) w/ win 95. Just after I install trident 9750 driver I get a message box: "the display driver you chose is not providing windows with information it needs to configure your video hardware. Windows may be unable to configure your hardware for this reason."
Any hints please?
