Tray Icon Not Appearing (Creative)

I have installed the drivers for my Creative Audio PCI sound card (one driver was the original bundled with my system, the other I got off of the creative website) and for some reason, the tray icon for volume levels and such will not appear with either of them. I've never had a problem like this before, it just happened recently (I formatted and reinstalled everything). Any suggestions to get my volume levels back?
