Comment:

I loaded IE5 on a PC with Win98. The icon ext became transparent. So did the text on the toolbar of Outlook Express.

Does anyone have an fixes or known causes?

Thanks, DH

I know there are some programs that do exactly this but you might be able to undo it by going into 'Control Panel>Display>appearence' and resetting the Desktop color back to what you what it to be. Perhaps IE5 has a switch for this somewhere in there, I don't have it so I'm guessing.
