Ok, here is the problem. I want a bigger hard drive. This thing has a 1.6GB drive, the BIOS will accept up to an 8.4GB without overlays being required. But get this. I can figure out how to transfer the boot sector. If I change drives, I get "Boot sector not found". Even if I ghost the drive over. Is there a way to copy a boot sector byte for byte to the second drive? Even if I have to split up the 8.4GB drive into two parts.

Well, sure - but there shouldn't be a need
Assuming the drive is error free and seen correctly in the BIOS (and the partition was made active prior to formatting), you could perform a repair by booting from diskette and entering
fdisk /mbr
If I know the answer I'll tell you the answer, and if I don't, I'll just respond, cleverly
