Does anyone know what kind of program tracert.exe is? I received in an email but haven't been able to find out what its for and the one that sent it to me hasn't answered about it yet. thanks in advance

It traces the route from you computer to a server or other computer. This gives you information about the pings for each "hop" the data packet makes on it's journey.

Would also do a virus scan on that.... people enjoy sending small attachments like that with nasty things embedded in them :(
