I have just arrived at a new job with a Toshiba Satellite Pro 44cdx waiting to be fixed. I have no prior experience with this machine. It originally had Win95 installed.
Immediately after it verifies the memory, it gives an "Invalid System Disk: Replace the disk and press any key" error. This happens if there's a win95 boot disk in the floppy or if there's nothing there at all. This machine has no CD drive.
It gives me no keyboard options for entering the BIOS during the memory check. I have tried Shift, Del, F1, F5, F8.

Thanks for any help.

Darn it!
If it's Award or AMI try "Del".
If it's Phoenix try F2 or Ctrl-Alt-Esc.
If not of these work try Ctrl-Alt-Ins, Ctrl-A, Ctrl-S, Ctrl-F1, or F10.
If none of these work, as a last ditch effort you can try to hold down several keys,
or spacebar, or unplug keyboard on a reboot.
This may give the error, "Keyboard error" "Press F1 to enter set up".
