Too many window opening

My friend has just started having problems when trying to open Windows Explorer & Internet Explorer she is getting 12 or more windows opening the only changes she has made is to uninstall Zone Alarm. This problem hasn't occured in any other program yet.

Thank you for your reply but it is not the folders that are opening in seperate windows it's the program. When she clicks on Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer she gets 12 or more windows open of the same page she is then able to view what ever she needs to but when finished she has to close all the windows that have opened uneccessarily.

Zone Alarm is tricky to uninstall and it's my guess that it did not uninstall properly.
In which case re-install Zone Alarm then go to their website to get the full uninstall info.
The most important thing before uninstalling it is to disable it from starting by going into the ZA Control Panel. Re-boot to ensure it does not re-start before attempting uninstall. Then use either the provided uninstall or Control Panel/Add-Remove.
Re-boot afterwards then run a good registry cleaner and re-boot again.
