I have windows 98 and whenever I shutdown or restart my computer a box comes up that says this program is set to run in ms-dos mode and can't run while other programs are running and it asks if i want to continue or not. At the top of the left corner in the name is DMDOS. I need help i don't know what to do!

Hi,

Probably you have Nuts & Bolt installed on your computer. DMDOS.exe is third-party disk scanning application running insted of Scandisk.
Some info I found on:

Hope this helps
